PSE Archery has announced the 2012 compound bow line up and have prefaced their unveiling of the new bows with an introduction to the 2012 PSE Pro Series Cams. As part of the process of listing the details of the new PSE bows I will also include the cam system that is featured on each. At the end of the summary of Pro Series compound bows is an overview of the features of each PSE Cam System for 2012.

Pro Series

Omen Pro

The PSE Omen Pro has been designed to be the fastest bow ever made with an IBO Speed of 366 fps. The bow uses the Planar Flex Riser design and Centerlock Pocket System. The bow is draw length specific and available in half inch increments.

Available in a choice of three finishes: Break-up Infinity Camo, Black Riser with Break-Up Infinity Limbs and Skullworks Camo

Dream Season Evo

The Dream Season Evo from 2011 has been improved with a cam system that now features ½” inner cam adjustments and an optimized draw cycle. The other features such as the Planar Flex Riser and Centerlock Pockets combined with X-Force Limbs makes it an even more impressive hunting bow.

Evo 7

A new bow for 2012, the Evo 7 checks in with a more forgiving 7 inch brace height as PSE makes an attempt to please an even wider sphere of people. The bow features the Evo Cam system with ½” adjustable posi-lock inner cam without modules. This bow also features the PSE Planar Flex Riser, and Centerlock Pockets as well as the X-Tech Limbs.

Evo SD

The new Evo SD provides a power bow for the short draw length archers and as far as PSE is concerned this is the fastest short draw ever built. The basic Evo framework is provided with the minimum draw length reduced down to 24-1/2”. The cam system is another new one, the Mini EVO Cam with posi-lock inner cam. As with the other bow the Evo SD features the Planar Flex Riser and Centerlock Pockets attached to X-Tech Limbs.

The new Vendetta is still an ultra-smooth drawing bow that now uses the Drive Cam system. It has been created as the most forgiving bow possible with a longer 34” frame and a brace height of 7”.

Another new bow for 2012, the Revenge is a compact lightweight bow that is going to provide you with the perfect bow to use for stalking without losing an unreasonable amount of power. This is the perfect bow for the treestand, the ground blind or when on the move.

The new bow for the women has been released and it’s called the Stiletto. It has been built with X-Force Limbs ensuring it is going to be smooth and powerful. The bow has been given a lightweight frame, shorter draw lengths and lighter poundage, but it is still capable of impressive speeds.

Freak

The new long draw bow in the range is the Freak and it has been designed to cater for the largest of archers. The cam system used in the bow is the Evo cam and it will cater to draw lengths out to 33”. This is a significantly substantial compound bow in modern terms measuring 38” axle to axle. The IBO Speeds quoted in the PSE literature was taken at 33” and 30”.

The new target archery bow designed to take the competition world by storm is the Dominator Pro and the features are still present from previous years. The cam is the Mini EVO Cam System for additional smoothness in the draw as well as greater power. The bow is available in a choice of three finishes, polished black, polished blue or polished red.

Twelve bows make up the 2012 Mainline Series of compound bows with a number of brand new bows, a few that have seen some upgrades and the rest that have been brought across from the 2011 range for another season.

The Bow Madness XL has been given a new and improved cam system called the Madness Pro single-cam and features ½” draw length adjustments with PSE’s posi-lock inner cam.

Bow Madness 3G

New for 2012, the Bow Madness 3G is a completely re-engineered Bow Madness starting with a new low-flex riser designed to provide greater accuracy. The cam system is the Madness Pro single-cam providing ½” draw length adjustments with PSE’s posi-lock inner cam.

Brute X

The Brute has been completely redesigned as the Brute X and now incorporates X-Tech technology with preloaded split limbs, a new machined riser and pivoting limb pocket system. The Madness Pro single-cams have also been added to the bow making it an impressive package at an unbelievably low price.

The new Rally compound bow has been designed to provide a far more adjustable bow than most are used to, in fact 12 inches of adjustability.
