2014 Bear Archery Compound Bows

The line up of Bear Archery compound bows for the 2014 season was announced on September 26, 2013 and they have been released with ten brand new models getting introduced. Among this new selection are no less than five bows that can be considered part of the flagship range of hunting bows.

The new bows have also been designed with the latest in technological advancements that have been developed by using ideas from previous models and making performance improvements.

Bear Agenda 6 & Bear Agenda 7

Bear Agenda 6The first two bows in the 2014 line up are the Agenda 6 and the Agenda 7. Boasting brace heights of 6 inches and 7 inches respectively, these bows have been built around the new H13 hybrid rotating module cam system, enhanced riser technology using forged aluminum for greater strength and Max Pre-Load Quad Limbs which are high-tensile composite Dual limbs. The entire package is an exercise in light weight strength and tremendous power. The 6 weighs only 3.9 lbs while the 7 weighs 4.0 lbs and they both measure 32 inches axle-to-axle.

Bear VenueThe Venue has been released as the smoothest possible drawing single cam hunting bow available. The bow features the new S13 rotating-module cam which has been designed to deliver great speed with efficiency and smoothness. Bear Anarchy HCAn upgrade to the original Anarchy has been made with the introduction of the Anarchy HC. This bow sports a double Hybrid Cam design. The longer frame of 35.5 inches axle-to-axle combined with a more forgiving brace height of 7.25 inches makes it a bow that handles very much like a target bow. Part of the power generation comes down to the inclusion of Max Pre-Load Quad limbs to give it the same new technology benefits of the other newcomers.

Bear RumorThe fifth new bow to be unveiled is the Rumor and it has been designed with the female hunters in mind. The bow is equipped with the new FH2 optimized Hybrid cam technology. The geometry of the cam system makes the most of the possible power and efficiency that may be drawn from the bow. The bow weighs in at a tiny 3.6 lbs and measures 30.25 inches from axle to axle. It is a speed machine that offers performance as a priority.

The ultimate in value for money options has been packaged and presented as the Authority. This bow uses the new EZ3 cam system. The cam is designed to give the bow efficiency, smoothness and speed. Bear Attitude

The same attention to detail as well as price has been paid to the Attitude which uses the same EZ3 cam system and Flared Quad Limbs as the Authority. The difference is that the Attitude has been created with a slightly shorter frame of 31 inches and a longer brace height of 7.25 inches. This results in a bow that is a little slower than the Authority at 310 fps, but also cheaper with a MRSP of only $299.99.

The budget options have been extended to cater for the ladies with the release of the new Finesse. The bow uses the new FH1 cam uses a rotating module for ease of draw length adjustments and offers silky smoothness in the draw cycle with great efficiency. The bow measures only 28-5/8 inches and weighs only 3 lbs. With a brace height of 7 inches and a MRSP of $399.99 in is a fine option for the female shooter.

Bear Apprentice 3

Finally there is a new version of the Apprentice with the introduction of the Apprentice 3. The bow features a two-cam system using the G3 cam which might also be termed a growth cam. The bow can go through draw length adjustments covering 15 inches all the way out to 27 inches and draw weight adjustments from 15 lbs to 60 lbs. This is the latest generation of one of the most popular youth bows available.
