2016 Bear Archery Compound Bow New Releases

The new release Bear Archery compound bows for the 2016 season have hit the market and the line-up is once again quite diverse with an array of improvements and upgraded older models.

A new flagship bow, the Escape, heads the list and in an interesting addition the bow has also been released in a short draw form. The range has also had a new youth bow added to the line-up in the form that has used the successful Cruzer design and made it appropriate for the very young archers.

Bear EscapeThis is the flagship bow in the 2016 range and it is based around a 7075 aluminum riser to give the bow a lightweight yet completely solid base. The bow is powered by the new H15 Hybrid Cam System and is capable of reaching speeds of up around 350 fps. The bow has a 32 axle-to-axle length for a stable base and the 6 inch brace height promises the speeds that the bow produce are going to be substantial.

Bear Escape SDThe short draw form of the flagship model the bow has a draw length ranging from 23.5 to 27.5 inches. The bow boasts the same materials used in the construction of the bow and this gives it the power and impressive performance but is suited to the smaller framed shooter. The bow has an IBO rating of 325 fps.

Bear Cruzer Lite

Bear Cruzer LiteA new introduction to the Bear line-up for the younger shooters is the Cruzer Lite which takes the same design of the Cruzer and makes it smaller and lighter. What it still is is a great introductory bow for the young archer. The draw weight starts low at 5 lbs and grows out to 45 lbs while the draw length allows for plenty of growth from 12” to 27”. This is a good way to start the young archer off with their first serious bow.
