Alpine Archery

Alpine Archery began in 1988 when Bob Proctor designed innovative overdraws for the 4D market. In 1990 the company produced its first bow which was called the Silverado, the first compound bow to feature a machined aluminum riser. These days everyone uses machined aluminum risers.
Today Alpine Archery is a leading bow manufacturer and innovator with a specialty in youth and women’s bows, although high performance bows at the adult level too with the Silverado and Silverado Sabre compound bows.
The cams used in Alpine’s bows are called Velocitec Cam Systems. The Velocitec cam system is a hybrid cam that is a high performance, equally balanced hybrid 2 cam that has dual payout grooves. These grooves serve two functions, stabilizing cam lean and keeping the cams synchronized throughout the draw cycle. The Velocitec Cam features an adjustable draw stop which allows for the fine tuning of draw lengths and provides a solid back wall.
One of the results of the Velocitec cam system is that Alpine compound bows are capable of high speeds and have been described as among the most advanced bows on the market.
Alpine Archery continues to prove itself as a leader in innovation with another feature created by the company being an extremely precise mounting system called the VX Series “Inter-Loc” Limb Mounting System.
