Athens Archery

The Athens Archery company was built off the back of a machining business when the owner, Jason Hudkins realised that he had all of the equipment at his disposal to produce a top quality bow. As a bow-hunting enthusiast the idea was bound to become a reality and by the end of 2007 the first prototype of an Athens Archery compound bow came to see the light of day.

In 2009 Athens compound bows were available to the public after they were on display for all the world to see at the annual ATA (Archery Trade Association) show.

The first of the Athens Archery compound bows to be released was the Accomplice which is a smooth drawing compound bow that generates solid speeds. Notable about the bow is the quality of the component parts, evidence of the machining business from which the company was developed.

This is still a bow manufacturer that is in its infancy and has yet to develop a large following. It is definitely worth testing any bow that bears the Athens Archery name with the likelihood that they are going to be producing more top quality bows in the future.

Athens Archery is one of the newer bow manufacturers that is fast making a name for itself with some fine quality compound bows that are starting to make their way out onto the scene. Bows such as The Accomplice, Exceed 300 and the Buck Commander have drawn the attention of those who are serious about finding a quality bow that will bring something new to the table.

With features such as CNC Machined Limb Pockets and an EV2 Duo-Cam System the Athens compound bows are capable of reaching speeds well in excess of 300 fps.
