The Bear Mauler compound bow is the mid-range compound bow in the 2011 line-up of power bows from Bear Archery. It uses the E-Cam, the same cam system as the Attack and this means it shoots with the same efficiency and smooth cycle as the earlier bow but at a lower price.
The E in E-Cam stands for efficiency and this has to do with the transference of energy that goes directly towards the arrow rather than being lost through the bow. It is noticeably smooth during the draw as the E-Cam rotates effortlessly and the asymmetric power track also decreases friction and increases cable life.
The inclusion of the Max Pre-Load Quad Limbs brings the Bear technology of beyond parallel limbs to the Mauler to assist with the idea of storing energy while avoiding recoil during release. The bow also features the distinctive looking Dual-Arc Offset String Suppressors which help to turn the bow into an unusually quiet bow, in fact making it one of the quietest bows on the market.

Great bow shoots great groups out of the box once sights are adjusted. This bow can definitely compete with the thousand dollar bows. for the money you get quiet a good package of accessories.
