Bear Siren Compound Bow
The Bear Siren compound bow is the new hunting bow specifically designed for the female bow hunter in 2012. Although this may be classed as a bow for women there is no way that it can be considered anything but a top-flight hunting bow. It is a bow that has been field tested by some of the top female archers who appreciate the quality that is required to achieve the best performance and the changes that have been made have refined the bow into a lethal weapon.
The bow is equipped with the FH-Cam system (FH = “For Her”) and it has been designed to deliver performance on the back of short draw lengths. It is responsible for power and is the direct result of the input from a range of class female archers suggestions.
Many of the features found on the Siren are also included on the other new release bows for 2012 including zero tolerance limb pockets, max pre-load quad limbs and the Dual Arc Offset String Suppressors. The weight of the bow has been trimmed down to a very comfortable 3.8lbs ensuring that it is not going to drag you down. The brace height is just under 7 inches at 6.75” and this provides a good mix of speed combined with power.
Bear has released the bow for the 2012 season and is offering it as a new bow as either the bow only or in a Ready To Hunt package. The bow is available in the RealTree APG and Shadow finish (the Shadow is pictured top right).

I am a bit disappointed I thought about upgrading this for her from the homewrecker to the siren however her draw is currently 27 and the homewrecker goes to 28. The siren only goes to 27 so if she grows anymore that wouldn't be practical.
