BowTech Captain Compound Bow
The BowTech Captain compound bow has become popular as a hunting bow that provides a smooth shot delivered quietly and with precision. The Center Pivot technology has been incorporated into this bow as well as two other bows in the BowTech line-up, namely the Admiral and the Sentinel.
The riser of the BowTech Captain is fully machined T6 Alloy Aluminum. The riser/limb design uses Vertical Force Technology creating a parallel limb angle designed to minimize vibration. Tests conducted without the use of a stabilizer have confirmed the vibration-free shot have confirmed the consistent performance of the bow.
The CenterTrac Binary Cam System has been designed to find a way to avoid cam lean which affects the efficiency of the bow as well as the accuracy. By splitting the cables to either side of the cam the problem is effectively solved giving you a balanced cam system.

What they’re saying about the BowTech Captain
The other day I was at my local pro-shop getting some adjustments made to my Hoyt and they invited me to shoot a few different bows while I waited. The bows I shot were the Captain, Bowtech Sentinal, Hoyt Alphamax 32 and 35. I was absolutely blown away by the Captain. I couldn't believe how smooth, fast, and quiet the bow was.
The Captain as an all around bow is fantastic. It's a mid size bow laying in between the ATA lengths of the shorter Admiral and longer Sentinel. You can say it's replaced the Guardian which is reveled to be one of Bowtech's all time bows. I know of no one that has shot one that isn't impressed.
I just felt the Captain fit me better and then zero hand shock won me over. The weird thing though is that I never used to really noticed hand shock shooting bows. Then I got used to the Captain and now feel the "slight" hand shock in other bows.
