BowTech Commander Compound Bow
The BowTech Commander compound bow was released by the BowTech company in 2007 using the new center pivot technology but placed on a bow that had a much longer configuration.
The Center Pivot design has been added to deliver zero hand shock or at least as close to zero as possible. Cam lean has also been dealt with so that the bow is given improved accuracy over any distance and draw.
This bow has now been discontinued in 2009 but can still be found to buy second hand.

What they're saying about the BowTech Commander
I bought a commander last year and love it no problems what so ever,I never have to worry about it just pull it out and shoot it.It is the sweetest bow I have ever owened,if you like the longer ata then you can't go wrong with the commander, either model would be fine.

The key to the BowTech Commander's superior accuracy and performance is its revolutionary center pivot design and split limbs. When this bow is brought to full draw, the limbs pivot into a position far beyond parallel. This results in greater transfer of stored energy upon release, for unparalleled speed and accuracy over distance.

I have two 07's, a 60# and a 70#. I thoroughly enjoy shooting these bows. They shoot well enough for me that I haven't felt the need to put a stabilizer on them. I am 6' tall but I really like the longer ATA. The commander will be a great hunting bow which is all I use it for.
