BowTech General Compound Bow
The BowTech General compound bow was released in 2008 and was one of the leading lights in the BowTech range. It has since been taken over by the 2010 range of bows that have snapped onto the market with great fan-fair. Nevertheless the General is a well-balanced bow that delivers maximum performance.
The cam system is the patented technology of the CenterTrac Binary Cam System which has been coupled with its Center Pivot Limb technology.
You can get a BowTech General in either a right-handed or left-handed model so be on the lookout for the bow in either configuration.

What they’re saying about the BowTech General
In February 2009 the company voluntarily recalled the BowTech General with the following Hazard Warning: The ends of the bow’s limbs can unexpectedly break during use and send fragments of the bow in the direction of the user or bystanders, posing a risk of injury. This recall involved the “The General” compound bows hunting and target models with draw weights of 60 and 70 pounds that do not have a collet in the limb. Before buying a BowTech General make sure you inquire as to whether the bow was taken to an authorised dealer for the necessary repairs.
