Diamond Dead Eye Compound Bow
The Diamond Dead Eye compound bow is the fastest bow in the Diamond range featuring a lightweight frame and the powerful Throttle Cam, a single-cam system that has been designed to eliminate tuning. The way it achieves this is through an external custom bearing assembly.
The bow has been equipped with a range of features that have become particular to the Diamond bows to ensure that the bow enters the market as a fully equipped hunting package. The RAK (Ready. Aim. Kill) package is designed to ensure the hunter has been outfitted with everything he or she needs to simply pick up the bow and get started.
A significant features apart from the Throttle Cam includes an FLX Guard which is a cable containment system that eliminates riser torque and helps to achieve the greatest accuracy possible.
It has been said in quite a few reviews and forums by those who have had a close look at the bow that the Dead Eye is basically a single-cam Destroyer.

What they're saying in the forums about the Diamond Dead Eye
Kind of interesting. Basically a single cam Destroyer.
The Throttle Cam looks pretty cool on the DeadEye. Interesting idea of placing the cam on the limb tips and not through them like traditionally done by everyone else. I'll be curious to see how well they hold up with the pressure and vibration at that stress point.
I shot one the other day. It was a nice shooting bow. Had little vibration at the shot. My only complaint was that it had a pretty pronounced (stiff) breakover into the valley. Unlike the Vengeance that just transitions smoothly to the end before you know it.
