Elite Pulse Compound Bow

The Elite Pulse compound bow is the flagship bow of the 2011 season and it is a bow that sits lightly in the hand with an immediately comfortable feel. The draw cycle is smooth and it feels stable when brought to full draw and with a deep valley and high let off it is going to appeal to a lot of people.

One of the areas where it may feel as though it is letting the shooter down is on release with more shock than one would expect from this type of bow. This will be improved with the addition of a stabilizer and string silencers.

The bow is powered by the EFX Cam System and it is placed on the end of laminated solid limbs. The modular cams require a bow press to effect the draw length adjustment. The draw of the bow is smooth and you experience an early peak before transitioning into a long valley and a solid back wall.

This is a bow that has been designed to deliver a balanced instrument that will provide a great deal of speed while also helping as much as possible with accuracy.

What they are saying in the forums about the Elite Pulse

I have shot the Z7 and the Pulse. The Z7 I shot was at 28/60 which are my specs. the Pulse I shot was at 29/70 which is an inch long and 10 pounds heavier. My take on the Pulse is it is very smooth for a speed bow. As far as smoother than the Z7, I would like to shoot the Pulse at 28/60 before I make that statement.

Fit and finish, well no surprise the Pulse is near perfect. I love the AP Snow...The Draw is near perfect and smooth. I enjoy it. I really do not require the LO or the HUGE valley, but I see how many will LOVE it...The Shot…the bow is not the most shock free or quiet bow I’ve ever shot, but it is very nice. I think the Pulse is the quietest and most vibe free Elite I have owned. I do think my stabilizer setup is really helping me here...I have been rather impressed with the accuracy of this Pulse. This is the main reason I will be keeping the bow.
