The NAP Nightmare broadheads are fixed blade heads that feature offset blade settings that cause much larger blood trails than you might normally expect from a 100 grain broadhead. Ahead of the blades is another formidable weapon, the Trivex point that hits with bone splitting force for maximum penetration. The aim is a quick and efficient kill.

The three blades of the Nightmare are Diamize sharpened blades and this means the sharpest blades in the industry and when these sharp blades enter with their offset action the hemorrhaging will be significant.

The Nightmare broadheads have been discontinued by NAP with the Thunderhead Edge taking its place having taken the strong points in terms of the toughness and positioning of the blades and given it a revamp. That being said, the Nightmare is still available in limited numbers for those who have had good experiences with them.

The Magnus Snuffer SS broadhead has been created again to provide hunters with the best possible 3-blade arrow tip. The Snuffer has been precision-machined and spin tested to ensure the arrow flight is incredibly precise.

This cut-on-contact broadhead is razor sharp out of the box and is a one-piece head that is 100% knife-grade stainless steel. It has obviously been carefully machined with no visible flaws and you can expect groupings that are as tight as any you can get when shooting field tips.

The Magnus Stinger Buzzcut broadheads feature the same knife-grade stainless steel blades for razor sharp cutting ability but has the added feature of a chiselled serration for more extensive cutting inside the animal. This means the blood trails that are produced are going to be far greater and easier to follow. In all other aspects the Buzzcut is the same as the original Stinger broadheads.

The ferrules are made from aircraft quality aluminum with the flight assured after extensive spin testing to within .002 thousands of an inch. This means the arrows will fly as truly as if they were fitted with field tips. The blades finish at a patented diamond tip to provide bone splitting penetration that will bring down even the largest animals.

The blade of the Stinger Buzzcut is a single piece of stainless steel and the cutting width is a healthy 1”. The blade is secured to the shaft by screws that are .095” in diameter and create a solid point that is not going to snap or fail.

Hoyt Cybertec Compound Bow

The Hoyt CyberTec compound bow was first introduced in 2002 and was one of the early bows to feature the new cam technology that was introduced by Hoyt known as its cam and ½ system. This was a system that was created to take advantages of the strong points of both the one cam and two-cam systems while eliminating the problems encountered with both.

The cam and a half system looks like a two-cam system with identical cams at the top and bottom of the bow. It’s in the modules where the module on the bottom cam rolls over until the Stealth Draw Dampener makes contact with the cable to provide a solid wall. The top cam differs in operation in that it is rounded to act like an idler wheel eliminating timing issues that you might get with two-cam systems.

The CyberTec also features XT2000 limbs which are the 14” laminated limbs providing the perfect combination of length and brace height without compromising bow speed.

As can be quickly figured out by the name of the bow, the CyberTec features the ubiquitous Tec riser that has become extremely popular with Hoyt users.

I own a 03 Cybertec and its a very nice bow , very quiet , fast , and accurate. I' d like to know if anyones had luck with a muzzy zero effect on this bow I had trouble getting it to work [ fletch contact ] and am currently using a trapdoor it works great but i can’t see hunting with it . I would love to hunt with this bow so if anyones had luck setting up a zero effect please give details on how you did it .

I have a 2003 Cybertec with the Cam & 1/2. I have been very pleased with it. It is a great overall bow and I have killed many deer with mine. I don't think you can go wrong with this one as a starter bow. It has a little more hand shock than the latest parallel limb bows, but is still very nice to shoot.

The Parker Hunter Mag put the company in the spotlight and they have sold plenty of bows since then. I still have my Hunter Mag and would never sell it. It is as smooth as the day I bought it new. As a matter of fact I shot it today. I am saving for my son to use. The customer service is great. I am the original owner and had a receipt. I broke a bottom limb an took it to the factory located in VA and in 30 minutes, I was out the door with new cam bushings, upper and lower limbs (the factory upgraded to newer limb model Hunter Mag II), new limb bolts, and replacement sims limb silencers. I have had 3 string replaced from normal wear and shot the heck out of the bow.

I shot one at NFAA Indoor National, normally I'm not one to be impressed easily. Honestly I just wanted some free limb saver string leeches they were giving away if you test shot one. I asked them to set on to 27.5" and 45# and insisted I use my release and my arrows. It was a bit sooner in the draw and harder breaking over than the same weight on my 45# Martin Scepter4 and P3 (both w/ Elite limbs and Nitrous_X "B" cams) but it had a nice long deep valley and a firm wall. the next thing I noticed my release hand was back behind my ear and the arrow was in the bale, I felt nothing. I mean, just a gentle click of my back tension hinge setting and then I expanded and it was gone. OK, I'm very impressed, and as I said I do not impress easily.

Quest Torrent Compound Bow

The Quest Torrent compound bow has been introduced in 2012 and it uses a new single cam system called the Fluid Cam. This cam features a rotating module to enable the draw length to be changed without the need for a bow press and with only one module. The use of the Fluid Cam is combined with a shorter brace height to provide greater speed for the hunter.

The focus of the bow is a combination of speed and smoothness and even though the brace height usually dictates the forgiveness of the bow, the shorter brace height here shouldn’t reduce the level of accuracy too much.

Bow vibration and shot noise are reduced even further with the addition of Bowjax limb dampeners and an adjustable string stop will help to reduce string noise.

The Torrent is available in Realtree AP or G-Fade Realtree AP which is a custom finish that is specific to Quest. The GFade finish has been created to help the bow blend into its surroundings more seamlessly making it a more formidable hunting weapon.
