Hoyt Carbon Defiant Turbo Compound Bow
The Hoyt Carbon Defiant Turbo compound bow is packed with innovative new cam, pocket and limb technologies to make it the most forgiving, accurate and efficient piece of arrow firing equipment out there. This is the speed bow of the series and is rated at up to 350 fps.
The bow features the Zero Torque Cable Guard to provide an even smoother shot with little or no torque. The carbon riser has become a big feature in the compound bow industry and Hoyt has continued to develop it with the Helical Flex Tune Carbon providing strength without adding tremendously to the weight of the bow.
The eccentric system features the DFX Turbo cam and ½ technology to provide a great deal of strength and accuracy while still feeling smooth in the draw. Accuracy is also enhanced by the generous brace height of 6 inches.
The draw length of this bow varies depending on the cam size. But with that in mind, the draw length ranges from 24" to 30".
Focusing on the riser of the bow brings us to the Helical Flex Tune Carbon technology and the stiffness that it adds to the bow. This provides a solid base from which to shoot from for great repeatability. Vibration and noise are greatly reduced thanks to the deadening nature of the material.
As with the other bows in the Carbon Defiant range, the limbs are five layered laminated to provide added dependability over an extended period of time. The beyond parallel limb technology means great power storage.
The point of difference of the Carbon Defiant Turbo over the previous models is the inclusion of the Zero Torque Cable Guard System which is added to neutralize unwanted torque. This is a unique system that will improve accuracy and consistency.

What they are saying in the forums about the Hoyt Carbon Defiant Turbo
I shot this Bow and I prefer the Nitrum. This bow has a real spongy draw cycle. It's all over the place. It's not quiet either. I shot them both one after another. Hoyt went backwards on this one IMO. This dude better practice with this bow a little bit more to his groups at 40 aren't going to sell me this bow.
I just shot the Defiant and Defiant Turbo today and I found that the Defiant 30 had a better feel all around in an aluminum riser for me. Granted, I haven't had a chance to give the Carbon Defiant Turbo a go, but it just didn't feel very good to me, I noticed a little vibration after release, but didn't notice it in the Defiant 30.
