Hoyt Razortec Compound Bow
The Hoyt Razortec compound bow was one of the first bows to feature the now famous “cam & ½” technology. The benefits in timing of the single cam combined with the nock travel that is made available with a dual cam was experienced in this bow when it was released in 2003. It is a smooth drawing bow that is also particularly quiet making it a compound bow that continues to impress, even today after years of compound bow technological improvements.
The bow also features XT2000 limbs that have been a hallmark of the Hoyt line for many years. The reliability and power potential provided by these limbs help to cement the bow into the favourite category of most hunters. These limbs are multilayer laminated carbon/glass that are designed to store and release more energy to promote faster arrow speeds.
As the name of the bow suggests, the riser is the TEC riser that has become part of all Hoyt compound bows.
The Razortec was a quality compound bow when it was first released and will still provide a comfortable and reliable bow that shoots hard and fast. The slim line grip and the smooth draw cycle will appeal to most shooters.

What they are saying in the forums about the Hoyt Razortec
My brother shoots a 2003 Razortec and it's a GREAT bow for the price you can get them these days. VERY competitive, VERY forgiving, and VERY easy to adjust with that Cam & 1/2 that never needs timing!
To me, the RazorTec is much smoother, and treestand friendly. I would not say it is more accurate, mainly due to the axle to axle length, but it does shoot excellent groups.
