Hoyt Ruckus Jr Compound Bow

Hoyt Ruckus JrThe Hoyt Ruckus Jr compound bow is the perfect starter compound bow for a young archer. It is smaller in specification to the Ruckus but it is still an effective bow that will fit the smallest of frames.  It looks remarkably similar to the bows that a grown up takes out hunting and that’s because it has been built with many of the features of a senior hunting bow.

The Ruckus Jr is perfect for the very young and, with a draw weight range from 9 lbs to 29 lbs, will continue to grow with its owner. As well as the draw weight the draw length is also nice and big with 12 inches of draw length adjustability in one inch increments thanks to the Ruckus Cam.

The draw length starts at 15 inches and will go out to 27 inches to ensure many years of enjoyment with the bow.

It is lightweight as well at only 3 lbs so that it is not going to tire out a smaller framed owner as they carry it out into the field. At 28-5/8 inches axle to axle it is an ideal size for the young archer and will ensure they look the part.

The bow uses the same design of TEC riser that comes from all of the top line hunting bows and this gives it a super-light mass while also ensuring a rock-solid base.

What they're saying in the forums about the Hoyt Ruckus Jr

The biggest benefit I have seen from my daughter shooting a Ruckus for the past few years and comparing it to the Craze is the grip size and overall bow weight. The Ruckus is a lot lighter for a younger shooter to easily handle and the grip is small enough for a younger shooter or womens hand. The Craze is slightly too large in the grip area. The Ruckus is worth every penny as it will last and grow with the shooter.
