Maitland Zeus G3 Compound Bow

The Maitland Zeus G3 compound bow is a versatile compound bow that will perform well in a number of different situations from the pressure of the indoor competition to the 3D course and out in the field as a hunting bow. It is the type of bow you will want to get if you like to experience all types of archery disciplines and need a bow that will keep up.

Just like the Session, the Zeus has been designed around the stable anchor point of the Longriser Technology that promises the most stable possible base from which to shoot. The idea is based around the fact that short parallel limbs placed on the ends of a longer riser provides a far more stable platform from which to shoot. The 36" billet machined aircraft grade riser is the longest in the world and this means there is less movement during the draw cycle which should result in reduced vibration, noise and shock.

Powering the bow is the Aggressor Cam system that starts with a fluid draw and ends with a lot of speed. The cam system features modulated draw length change and limb contact draw stop for a solid back wall. The limbs are Techflex Performance Split Limbs that are designed to work in harmony with the cam system. The split design of the Gordon Composite function smoothly and give you the durability to give you great performance.

Other features worth noting on the bow include the Advanced Limb Harness that takes the place of limb pockets and the choice of two stabilizer positions that gives the shooter the option of how they would like their bow balanced.

The bow is available in the following finishes: Sunset Orange, Silver Bullet, Phantom Black, Optical Blue, Vengeance Red, Matte Black, Camo Next Vista.

At this stage there are not of examples of the Maitland Zeus compound bow for sale but it is anticipated that, as the company becomes more well known and the bows are more highly appreciated they will begin to appear more frequently.

What they're saying in the forums about the Maitland Zeus

Im shooting a Zeus. Its the best holding bow I have had the pleasure of shooting so far.

I wasnt liking the string stop on it at all seemed a bit noisy but I just put a set of strings on it from ex-wolverine and the noise I thought was coming from it is gone, so it had to have been the old aftermarket string?

Draw is very smooth. A little bit stiffer than I had pictured on the VTR cams, but not as stiff as my evo.

I just traded my last elite for a Zeus for this year's target season. They are easily some of the most tunable and customizable cam systems out there. The only problem with them is, once people get one, they hold onto them. You just don't see used Maitlands very often.
