Martin Prowler Compound Bow
The Martin Prowler compound bow is a great entry level compound bow that was available for sale new back in the 1990s. Although it has been replaced with compound bows that have been packed with newer innovations, the Prowler still represents a very worthwhile choice for the beginner archer.
There are a number of features of the Prowler that is still relevant to good, accurate shooting today. The grip of the bow is a comfortable slim-fit that has been molded to provide a good fit. With an extremely generous brace height of 8.5 inches the Prowler is a very forgiving bow and while the top end speed is not devastatingly high it will still provide plenty of stopping power.
What you will find when looking to buy a Prowler compound bow is the prices are very reasonable. For an entry level bow there is little that can go wrong for the price.

The negative would be weight and speed compared to what's available these days. The positive is this bow is extremely quiet with the right arrows and set up. It has turned out to be a really good working man's hunting bow. I've had no trouble tuning this bow.
