Mathews Jewel Compound Bow
The Mathews Jewel compound bow is a new release for 2012 and is the bow that has been created with the female archer in mind. It has a short draw range and is also short from axle to axle to add up to quite a lightweight bow.
The bow has been designed with a new cam system that has been created specifically for the Jewel and has been called the Jewel Perimeter Weighted Cam. The riser is the new lighter weight Grid Lock design which provides tremendous strength for only a minimum amount of weight.
Complementing the powerful cam system are the SE5 Composite Slim Limbs which makes use of technology that has been designed to increase the efficiency of the bow to greater levels. The limbs are also adorned with four unique graphics in gold, pink, teal and platinum. The graphics are particular to each of the different color accents used on the bow.
Although this is a bow designed for the female shooter there is absolutely nothing lost in the smoothness and power capabilities. This is a hunting bow that is going to provide you with all out stopping power.

Interesting. I am very curious to see how the typical shooter will shoot with the reflex that it has on the riser, along with how fast it will be at the shorter DL's and poundage found with most female shooters. Having the speed shown at 325fps/60#/29"DL is a bit interesting.

I shot it last night and WHOA!!!! I LOVED IT!!! Don't think I'll be getting one right now, but will definitely plan on buying one used form someone. Let me tell you, the draw on that thing was so freaking smooth. Definitely a bad bow for sure.
