Mathews Mini Genesis Compound Bow
The Mathews Mini Genesis compound bow has taken the wildly popular Genesis youth bow and made it smaller and lighter and perfect for the smallest of youngsters to use and develop a love for the sport of archery. It uses the same technology as the original Genesis bow and has been scaled down to fit youngsters as small as pre-schoolers.
The bow has been designed with “zero let-off” which means that there is no set draw length. This allows the bow to be drawn to a wide range of lengths so that any size of young shooter will feel comfortable with it. The zero let-off feature will help to pull the string from the fingers from release making it even easier to shoot.
This is a great introduction for the youngest of archers to begin using a bow. The ease of draw means they won’t become fatigued while going through the process of learning to draw and aim properly. The light weight of the bow - it weighs only 2 pounds - and the draw weight range of a very modest 6 to 12 pounds makes this an ideal first bow for the small kids to use.

What they're saying in the forums about the Mathews Mini Genesis
I bought the Mini for my son this year (shot a recurve before that) He ADORES this new Mini Genesis. I'd highly recommend one.
The Mini Genesis is great for the younger age group. I think it goes up to 20#. After that, you can go to the Genesis. It is bigger and has a higher poundage. The good thing about these bows is that they have no set draw length. The child can pull it until it is comfortable to them. As they grow, there is nothing to adjust.
