Mathews Monster Compound Bow
The Mathews Monster compound bow is a fast bow, in fact, Mathews Archery is touting it as the fastest dual cam compound ever built. This means it takes over from the Mathews Eliminator which was also the fastest dual cam compound ever built...until the Monster.
To give the bow its full name, it is actually called the Mathews McPherson Series Monster, because Matt McPherson has been creating two cam bows since manufacturing the Eliminator 20 years ago.
The stand out feature of the Mathews Monster is the AVS Technology that has been added to the bow. AVS Technology (Advanced Vectoring System) is the dual cam system that drives the bow. According to Mathews this dual cam is unlike any other cam that has ever been produced and has raised the bar on dual cam engineering.
Mathews has bumped up the bar with this one going for all out speed but stil jamming a heap of technology into the bow. There will be a little more shock and vibration with the bow when fired stripped down and this is because of the dual cam set up. I suggest you draw this power house with your bow hand fully closed, the snap is violent and will bounce the bow in your thumb to palm area possibly altering your grip and creating major problems.

The bow is wicked fast, i had an 83lbs gt 500 with a 420gr arrow, it shot 313fps and with the monster at 70lbs it shot the arrow at 304. i shoot a 28inch dl. The bow is really consistant. I shot a 360gr at 60lbs at 307. All i gotta say is fast.
