Mathews S2 Compound Bow
The Mathews S2 compound bow is bow that is somewhat similar to the popular Switchback bow, a bow that has now been discontinued. It contains a few more added features with standard limbs, limb pockets and a machined riser.
The bow is a mid-weight bow weighing in at 4-1/4 pounds and is a smooth drawing bow from start to finish. It gives you a great blend of speed and forgiveness and with a stabilizer it holds particularly well.
When you shoot the S2 you will be struck by the lack of recoil and the quietness of the shot. It uses a straightline C1 cam system that is capable of firing the arrows at a great rate.

What they're saying about the Mathews S2
Between the Dren and the S2 it is a tough call. I can not quite put a finger on it, but I like the S2 more. On the down side it is a bit heavier than the Dren, but that is the only drawback I could tell while shooting it.
For functionallity, the S2 get a couple of extra points becasue it can accept a two piece quiver where the Dren and DXT can only mount the one piece.

I think the original SB is one of the best bows Mathews ever put out....it may have been a "peaking" moment. A friend of mine has a SBXT and other than the size, everything else with regard to the S2 is comparable.
