Mathews ZXT Compound Bow

Mathews ZXTThe Mathews ZXT compound bow is part of the Z series of bows that typically feature the Geo Grid Lock riser pattern. This indicates that the bow is not only lightweight but also features a strong and rigid core that the rest of the bow is based around.

This is a hunting bow that offers a smooth draw cycle that helps to make it an easy bow to shoot. The speed of the bow not top-end but it still packs plenty of punch to satisfy most bow hunters. It is short in stature at only 28” making it an extremely maneuverable bow.

The bow is powered by the new ZX cam system which is an off-shoot of the Z-series cam system. The cam works smoothly to deliver its speed trading in some power in the process. Accuracy is also emphasised in the bow's design through the longer brace height which is a forgiving 7.375 inches.

The limbs of the bow are SE6 Composite SlimLimbs offering a great strength to weight ratio. The limbs are short and flexible and bend beyond parallel and this helps in noise reduction.

What they're saying in the forums about the Mathews ZXT

My new ZXT will be my go to bow. I could have bought about any bow I wanted but I like the short a to a and no I don't shoot out of tree stands. Heavy brush scenarios I deal with frequently is one of the main reasons though. Mentioned before not the fastest bow I've owned but everything else fits very good.

Both the ZXT and Helim shot well. The Helim seemed to be just a touch easier to draw but it was a 27 inch draw and ZXT was 28. Both were super smooth and about equal with very minimal vibration. Any stabilizer would take this out. Also, they were both really quiet. Wasnt able to really distinguish between the two.
