Mission Blaze Compound Bow
The Mission Blaze compound bow is a powerful hunting bow that is capable of significant speeds that are made possible through the smooth action of the AVS Cam System. Vibration and noise is overcome through a number of additions such as the factory installed Harmonic Stabiliser, String Grubb and String Suppressor.
The perimeter weighted AVS cam system ensures that there is a perfect balance of power and performance. It also allows 80% let-off. The draw length range covers 26 - 30 inches and is available in half-inch increments.
The feel of the bow is enhanced by the inclusion of an ergonomic walnut grip that forms an important part of the Extruded Riser.
The bow is available with Zebra Hybrid bowstrings and the Lost Camo AT pattern finish.

What They're Saying About the Mission Blaze
Put my hands on the Blaze today and I have to say for $599, that thing is SWEET! I'm currently shooting a Chill and I really liked the feel of the Blaze and the little extra ata and speed. Very interested to see what Mathews has in store for 2014 now and if it is indeed a new Chill or Chill XT or something like that.
I shot the Blaze and the Chill R side-by-side. Very similar. Both are smooth, both are quiet, both are accurate. The R has a roller guard and the Blaze has a cable slide. The Blaze is a little heavier. The R is $400 more. Which one to get? Depends just on how much you wanna spend.
I wound up shooting a camo Chill R and a Mission Blaze side by side. Shoot one, put it down and shoot the other. Went back and forth for a while. Finally wound up buying the Blaze, the guy behind the counter couldn't show me the $300 dollar difference. The riser is different, and adds a little weight, plus the plastic limb pockets. Other than that, pretty much the same limbs and cams as the Chill R from what I can tell. And 2 FPS slower in the IBO. I liked the grip and the feel of the Blaze better, and they both go equally dead in your hand immediately after the arrow leaves.
