Pearson Diamondback VX Compound Bow
The Pearson Diamondback VX compound bow was a popular bow when it was released back in the early 1990s and it still has plenty of supporters which is testament to the quality of the workmanship that went into it. This is a bow that was in constant release by Ben Pearson Archery and as it was re-released the improvements were added to it.
The 2002 version of the Diamondback was an innovation that was known as VIB-X. This is a chamber that was located within the riser of the bow into which a polymer gel called Vibasorb was added. The idea was to overcome the vibration that occurs around the center of the bow at the point of the handle.
The bow features split limbs that are held securely by lightweight aluminum limb pockets and limb retainers. When combined with the Whisper Cam system the draw cycle is smooth and even that builds quickly before a high let-off of 85%. The all-important noise and vibration of the bow is a very pleasing whisper quiet experience ensuring a comfortable shooting experience.
The Pearson Diamondback VX compound bow features the type of technology that was innovative for its time and it stands up to the passage of time as well. This is a bow that is still recognised as one of the smoothest, most comfortable hunting bows made.

What they're saying in the forums about the Pearson Diamondback
The one that I had was a DiamondBack VX.
As far as that bow.... it is super quiet, I would have put it up against any Mathews I have for noise.
The bows are very nice and shoot exceptionally well. The one thing I wasn't sure of was the system for vibration but the guys i know that shot them loved them. Pearson is a great bow company.
The Diamondback is very quiet, and plenty fast enough. I just got rid of an Outback because the Pearson is much lighter, much quieter, and cost about half as much.
