Strother SX Rush Compound Bow

The Strother SX Rush compound bow is a new release for the 2012 season and, as is the case with just about all flagship bows in a company’s lie up, the SX rush is reported to provide a mix of blazing speed combined with great forgiveness and a draw that is smooth and easy. The bow has been equipped with a new cam system that it calls the Badger Cam.

The badger Cam has been designed to deliver a power stroke that is unrivalled and can give the archer a little more than they have ever been able to get out of compound bows in the past. Another feature of the bow is the Super Cable Glide which provides a simple approach to controlling the cables and is a move forward compared to the old-style roller glides.

The bow is available in a choice of three different finishes: Black Death, SD Deception or AP.

Hunters are going to appreciate the looks and features of the SX Rush when they find what a great balance of aggression and efficiency. There are only a few of these compound bows being offered so when they become available be sure to take a closer look at the features, not to mention the price.

What they're saying in the forums about the Strother SX Rush

I was very impressed at the efficiency of the cam on both bows. After the shot ,the WRATH just sits in your hand. The RUSH was similiar with a slight forward roll afterwards. These should be very popular bows in the hunting world.

Very happy with bow. Beautiful fit & finish. Ordered the 3D camo riser with black 65#limbs. The bow weight measured 65.8# right out of the box, but I had Robert adjust it down to 62.3# - just right for me. 29.5" draw length.

TUNING - This bow was super easy to tune, I was easily shooting my 7 arrow quiver of arrows in 4" groups at 20 yds within 15 minutes of making adjustments to my sight.

DRAW - smooth. that's all. rock solid back wall.

NOISE - seemed pretty quiet to me, but I don't really have anyway to quantify.

SPEED - Since I have a need for speed, I shoot 316 grain arrows (High Country 5.5 gpi) and according to the archery calculator, my arrow speed should be 325 fps with 75 ft-lbs of KE.
