Winchester Archery
Exhibiting a new range of compound bows in December 2010 at the ATA Show in Indianapolis, Winchester Archery introduced itself to the archery industry. The company started off with 5 new compound bows: the Quicksilver 34, Quicksilver 31, Vaquero, Tracker, Thunderbolt and the Destiny.
The bows provide a range of draw lengths to suit shooters of all sizes and have also catered for the serious hunter with the Quicksilver 34 capable of speeds of up to 343fps. The lightweight Thunderbolt and Destiny bows weigh in at only 2.56 lbs and also have a very light draw weight allowing younger shooters to get a head start. The Thunderbolt is aimed at the male shooter while the Destiny is aimed towards the female market.
At present there are not a great number of Winchester compound bows for sale on the secondary market, but this is expected to change as the brand becomes more widely known and accepted. Listed below are some of the Winchester compound bows for sale.

Winchester has made use of three different cam systems to power the bows. The Quicksilver bows are equipped with the AST Cam (Accu Speed Technology) that provides high arrow speed and a quiet shot. The Vaquero and the Tracker have been fitted with the ARC Cam (Advanced Rotating Cam) system providing draw length adjustment using the rotating module without needing a bow press.
The bows for the younger shooters, the Thunderbolt and the Destiny have the Rider Cam which provides great performance and adjustability and as the draw length increases the draw weight range of the bow also increases to match the archer as he or she grows.
One thing is obvious, the company has made a great job of providing a bow for just about everyone and it there are sure to be more to come in the future.
